Hi Friends,
I saw a saying the other day...
“It's ok to be sad after making the right decision!"
That's exactly how I feel! I made the very hard decision to close The Whistle Stop (brick and mortar only) after 30 years! It's bittersweet but, also feels right. As you can imagine the little old gas station and I have been friends for a long, long time and it is hard to say goodbye!
But, no worries! I’m not quitting completely! I will still be doing Junkstock, Christmas in the Country, selling on-line and curating the HOME SUPPLY Co. quarterly subscription box. I will just be doing it all from home.
And speaking of home. We have found a little, very little house in Valley that's just perfect and will accommodate our needs to be able keep working on furniture, wood & sewing projects, and subscription boxes. As I begin to decorate I will take you along through posts & stories on Facebook & Instagram. I’m excited for this!
I am so grateful for your love & support of the little bit of a country store called The Whistle Stop over the years! You all mean the world to me! I hope to see you at Junkstock, Christmas in the Country, on-line and where ever else we may show up!
In life some things come to an end, while new beginnings blossom! I am excited for WS Mercantile’s
(aka The Whistle Stop) next chapter! Now that we're just about settled in I will begin planning 2023!
